I spent years in the freelance trenches as a web designer and developer, trapped in the grind of hourly work. I've always had a passion for UX – not just the psychology behind it, but also the power it has to supercharge a brand and drive conversions. Sadly though, I often struggled to get clients to take UX seriously.
Eventually, I moved into a full-time role as a Shopify Web Developer and was able to see firsthand how specific, data-backed UX changes moved the needle on revenue. I also experienced a mindset in Shopify ecommerce that I hadn't come across in the world of designing and building Wordpress informational sites – the mindset that you have to spend money to make money.
